At a period many of my peers went back to school to get their MA, I was still raising my children, I felt overwhelmed with energy and curiosity. I started blogging, looking around me for context, I than started to organize and curate exhibitions, before I knew it a french non profit was born. I am humbly grateful for all the help I had from many volunteers, artists, people from my village, designers, whine makers and simply art lovers as well as institutions and other commercial and artist run projects. together we where able to create not only exhibitions, but also artists in residencies, publications, online projects, workshops, school projects and even an art fair. I ended up learning more than any university could offer, and I highly recommend this amazing experience as a strategy to dig deeper, own your game, and know the people in your art world.
"Art serves to establish community. It links us with others and with the things around us, in a shared vision and effort." - Gerhard Richter
